Părinte Cleopa, ne intreaba credinciosii: Cand va fi sfarsitul lumii ?
Cand si cum anume va fi sfarsitul lumii numai singur Dumnezeu stie. El ne-a descoperit unele semne in Sfanta Evanghelie si prin Sfintii Apostoli. Dintre acestea, doua semne sunt cele mai puternice, anume: slabirea tot mai mare a credintei in Dumnezeu si imputinarea iubirii crestine intre oameni, incepand cu familia.
Alte doua semne cumplite ale sfarsitului veacurilor sunt inmultirea tot mai mult a sectelor, prin asa numitii ” prooroci mincinosi ” si desfrau, care se vor raspandi, cum deja se vede pe tot pamantul. Mai ales desfraul prin partea femeiasca va fi cumplit in vremea de pe urma. Noi atata stim: cand se vor inmulti pacatele peste masura si vor ajunge la culme, atunci va veni sfarsitul lumii.
