In a bizarre and highly unusual incident that has quickly captured widespread attention online, a video allegedly showing former President Donald Trump kissing Elon Musk’s feet was recently displayed on a television screen inside a federal building.
Yes, despite previously revealing Musk’s so-called “deep fear,” it seems that Trump and the Tesla CEO are now closer than ever—or at least, a digitally altered version of them is.
On February 24, while the rest of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) was diligently working to “ensure Americans have access to fair, affordable housing, and opportunities to achieve self-sufficiency, thereby strengthening the nation,” those in the cafeteria were in for an unexpected surprise.
Instead of the usual programming, a television in the HUD cafeteria was abruptly hijacked by an AI-generated video clip depicting what many have interpreted as a compromising and awkward interaction between Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
Rachel Cohen, a journalist from Vox, shared a video of the incident on Twitter, which shows a television mounted on the ceiling displaying what appears to be Trump and Musk—with Trump seemingly planting a kiss on Musk’s toes.
A bold caption over the pair reads: “LONG LIVE THE REAL KING.”
Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for people to flock to social media to share their reactions.
“This is so funny but also kind of disgusting,” one Twitter user remarked.
Another user humorously pointed out: “Bro has two left feet.”
A third user commented: “That’s not kissing—that’s something else entirely, and I don’t even want to define it.”
A fourth user questioned: “Funny, but shouldn’t it be the other way around?”
Meanwhile, Democrats from the US House Committee on Financial Services chimed in with a lighthearted resolution: “Not all heroes wear capes.”
The video of Trump kissing Elon Musk’s feet, which played in the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development cafeteria this morning, was shared by Rachel Cohen on Twitter.
It remains unclear who is responsible for broadcasting the fake video on the cafeteria television. However, the footage appears to have been previously posted on Twitter, with one user claiming that the video was adapted from an image they created.
While the AI-generated versions of Musk and Trump engage in this peculiar interaction, the real-life duo has been busy in a different sense—sending out a stern email to all members of the federal workforce. The email reportedly demanded a response to a specific request, warning that employees who fail to comply would be considered as having resigned.
Trump has also reportedly instructed the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk, to “get more aggressive.” Interestingly, “aggressive” might also be a fitting word to describe the toe-kissing video, don’t you think?
This strange and humorous incident has undoubtedly left many scratching their heads, while others can’t help but laugh at the sheer absurdity of it all.
